Welcome to 2187 Astor Hall Community Leaders (AHCL), a resident-led coalition dedicated to transparency, financial stability, and the well-being of our cooperative community.

We believe in responsible leadership that prioritizes shareholder interests over outside investors, financial accountability over reckless spending, and community engagement over secrecy. Our team is composed of experienced and committed resident-shareholders who are passionate about maintaining and improving Astor Hall for the benefit of all who call it home.

Why We Formed AHCL

Astor Hall has long been a place where residents take pride in their homes and community. However, in recent years, misinformation, outside influences, and unnecessary conflicts have threatened the stability of our cooperative.

We formed AHCL to ensure that the future of Astor Hall remains in the hands of those who live here, contribute to this community, and care about its long-term success.

We stand together against unfair practices, misleading narratives, and governance that does not serve the best interests of resident-shareholders.

Meet The Team

Our candidates for the Board are dedicated professionals, long-time shareholders, and active community members who bring expertise, integrity, and a commitment to real solutions:

  • Victoria Adams – Board Member | Project Coordinator with experience in building operations and community engagement.

  • Mahiri Cleary – Board Member | Long-time shareholder focused on revenue generation and transparency.

  • Rosa Durand – Board Member | Financial expert with over 27 years in NYC government financial operations.

  • Mike Stringfellow – Board Member| Legal professional with extensive experience in cooperative governance, compliance, and financial oversight.
